A TOUR AT THE ROASTERY WITH THE EUROPEAN COFFEE TRIP TEAM

We had the privilege of hosting the European Coffee Trip team, and we’re excited to share with you the incredible experience we had with them. European Coffee Trip is an online magazine and guide dedicated to showcasing the vibrant specialty coffee culture in Europe through engaging articles, interviews, photos, and videos. Their visit was an opportunity for us to showcase Coaltown Roastery and the journey we’ve embarked upon to develop our coffee business and growth as a company.

The European Coffee Trip team came to understand our unique approach to coffee roasting and business development. They were particularly interested in how we’ve utilised advanced software like Cropster to create efficient systems that enable us to scale our operations. Despite having a small team, we’ve managed to achieve significant growth and maintain high standards of quality and consistency.

During their visit, we took the team through our entire process, from sourcing premium coffee beans to the intricate details of our roasting techniques. We demonstrated how Cropster’s real-time data and analytics capabilities have become integral to our operations, helping us streamline processes, track performance, and make informed decisions. This technology has allowed us to maintain our commitment to excellence and sustainability, even as we expand.

We also shared our vision of using coffee as a tool for community development. Our mission extends beyond producing great coffee; we aim to revitalise our post-industrial town Ammanford. By creating jobs and fostering local talent, we’re helping to rejuvenate our community and drive economic growth.
