Black Gold Decaf

Staying true to our belief that great coffee should be accessible to everyone, we are thrilled to introduce a new version of this iconic blend: Black Gold Decaf. A blend of Brazil and DR Congo, the same meticulous care has gone into roasting Black Gold Decaf as our original blend, aiming to maximise body, sweetness and complexity without compromising on flavour.

Using the Ethyl Acetate Process for decaffeination, it offers a lower acidity and bitterness, creating a rich, bold cup for those who prefer a caffeine-free option.

01. Brazil

Bossa Nova

n terms of area, Minas Gerais is the 4th largest state in Brazil, but when it comes to Arabica cultivation, the region is the most important in the country. It produces about 74% of Brazil’s total coffee volume.

Fabio Junior - “In all my works I put a little bit of myself and this one was no different. For me happiness has more to do with the simple things in our lives, like a cup of coffee in the morning on a rainy day, a family lunch, a warm bed waiting for you in the end of a very tiring and hard day... And of course, good music... Those little pleasures of life, you know? And the music for me is very special because love to listen while I do something, it makes me happy. And her (the capybara) face is very happy, exactly the expression we make when we realise that these little moments make our lives so happy.”- Fabio Junior

Coop Agricole Muungano

Founded in 2009, the Cooperative Agricole Muungano (CAM) was founded as a farmers’ initiative to re-establish the production of high quality arabica for export out of the Democratic Republic of Congo. Located on the slopes near the shores of Lake Kivu, today the number of smallholder farmers operating within the co-op totals close to 5,000.

Almost 50% of members are women and a significant amount of the co-op’s female members own their own coffee plants, working completely independently of their husbands.
