Nguguini PB
Notes: Blackcurrant / Chamomile / Tamarillo
Nguguini PB "n-goo-goo-ee-nee" is a vibrant and elegant Kenyan coffee with plenty of juicy fruit character. Expect rich blackcurrant sweetness alongside delicate chamomile and bright, tangy tamarillo, creating a complex cup with a lively acidity and clean, lingering finish. As a washed coffee, it has a crisp, refined character that lets the fruit and floral notes really shine.
Grown at over 1,600 metres above sea level in Kirinyaga County, this exceptional Peaberry lot comes from the Nguguini Factory, part of the Kibirigwa Cooperative Society. The region is renowned for producing some of Kenya’s most expressive coffees, with its high elevations and rich growing conditions helping develop the vibrant acidity and concentrated fruit character found in the cup.
Peaberry coffees are made up of naturally occurring single, rounded beans rather than the usual two-sided coffee seed. These dense beans are often prized for their concentrated flavour, making this a particularly distinctive expression of Kenyan coffee.

Grind Information
Please note, our espresso grind is suitable for most home coffee machines. If you have a commercial grade coffee machine, E.g. Linea Mini, then please add an order note in your basket, requesting commercial espresso grind.
We would always recommend that you use a grinder at home in order to achieve the grind suitable for your particular brewing equipment, but we appreciate that this is not always possible, so we do offer our coffee as ground. We offer grind options that we think would achieve the best results from the numerous variations of machines and equipment that are available to consumers, but we cannot guarantee that our ground options will work with every unique set up.
